Due Diligence for Acquisition Transactions

METSCO acted for a utility client to complete the associated due diligence efforts for a possible acquisition.

Working under strict deadlines and multiple audits, we developed a systemic process and a technical forecast model which considered comprehensive asset class valuations, failure rate forecasting, system cost analysis, OPEX/CAPEX forecasting, system value evaluation & forecast, financial analysis and an analysis of future system needs. Through this process, we articulated the risks and benefits with supporting evidence on the asset base and identified key value for the purchasing entity with respect to the system assets.
